Interesting stuff... but is it really a meta search if its only 20 sites? Should a true meta-search span the entire universe of sites? I keep thinking that the meta search sites will become infinitely recursive, with meta engines searching other meta engines in a huge loop.

Siddiq,

Thanks for your comment.

In order for our site to be FAST, we develop business relationships with each site we search, and then connect our servers to their servers using XML APIs. This is opposed to the screen scraping that a lot of other sites do, which is much slower, less accurate, and also can irritate the owners of the site being scraped, as they slow down the site's performance.

We currently have relationships with over 20 sites, but this number is growing every week. We have a backlog of partners to integrate, and we'll continue to add partners that provide either unique inventory, extraordinary price points, or a well-respected brand name so that we maximize the value to our customers.

Seems pretty nice in theory, but I went ahead and checked versus my favorite site Expedia and they are almost always cheaper. So why are you guys showing some other site at a higher rate. Not really serving up the best price for me, even after you say you are going to every site. Doesn't seem like you are pulling recent, accurate info.
I am sticking w/ Expedia!!
