I just got back from the Mandarin Oriental in DC and it was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept in - like sleeping on a cloud! I was tempted to tear off the mattress tag :-)

I like tropical islands and deep dives and red wines and good conversation. Oh, and sashimi. Check out our blog: www.vibeagent.com/blog

I wrote to the Mandarin Oriental, and one of the reservation consultants gave me the following information:
"Our mattresses are from Simmons, Model Felicity Pillow Top, Beauty Top mattresses. Unfortunately the manufacture does not sell them as retail since they are specially made for Mandarin Oriental. So my advice for you is to contact any retail store and have them find the closest Simmons set that meet this description." Profile Snapshot

I have to go with the Heavenly Bed by Westin. I recently switched my hotel loyalty to Marriott but really miss those Heavenly beds!

I bought a few Heavenly Beds for our house in europe 5 years ago, and they are not as comfortable as they were.
I recently bought a new Ritz Carlton Bed, I really really recommend them! Profile Snapshot

Personally I prefer the Hilton Serenity bed. I find Hilton especially in Europe and major cities has the best locations and the serene enviroment is most relaxing. As for baths no one beats the Heavenly bath of a Westin except Four Seasons and who can meet that demand for price?

I don't know the brand but the best bed I've ever had the pleasure of crawling into was as the Fairmont Hotel.

Omigod, the Heavenly Bed, of course. I will NEVER forget the first time I melted into a Heavenly Bed. I was with a group of my favorite Microsoft clients and we'd been doing the 3-cities-in-3-days research trip. By the time we got to the east coast, we were toast. By some karmic stroke, we wound up in a Westin with 'test' beds. We were very happy to be part of that particular focus group. Ever since then, I have actively sought out Heavenly Beds, although Sofitel, Fairmont and Hyatt aren't too shabby either.

Heavenly bed, definitely. The Hilton Serenity bed is a close second...but the pillows are much more plush with Starwood's Heavenly Bed.
