The bed was fantastic and staff was great. I don't think they had room service offered at the time and they still may not. Room was very clean and they offered yoga/fitness videos and yoga mats for your enjoyment & relaxation. 

A big bowl of fresh fruit at front desk every morning for guests and I think coffee/tea too. 

My parents came into town for a visit and they were shocked and pretty jealous of the size of room I had for the price. They were staying a few blocks down at Roger Williams Hotel and paying double the rate. 

The tv was fine but I am not sure if they had pay per view. 

Good location - midtown Manhattan so it's a convenient spot for many attractions. I have stayed at the other Affinia 50 and it was NOT nearly as nice the Dumont.  

I scored a rate for less than 250 back then and it was a killer rate for what you get. I was there in Mid March - maybe it was the winter rate.
