If you can afford it, staying at the Bellagio can't be beat. It's in a great location, has tons of stuff to do, some of the best restaurants in the world, and did I mention the plethora of pretty prostitutes? Wow!
The rooms are opulent, and for these prices you expect that. You also can't go wrong at any of the restaurants. The bars, lounges, and the casino floor are all a lot of fun.
This is also one of the must play places for poker players. Many pros play here on a regular basis, and some of the biggest games in the world are played in here. The only problem is the management: They're dicks. Every time I've played here the guy taking my name was more impolite than a NYC cab driver who is feeling irregular. The room is also very crowded. It's worth checking out, just for the notoriety. But after you play a few hands go to the street to the Venetian or Caesars where you'll be in nicer rooms and you won't be treated like a schlep.

We are not gamblers so we did not partake in any of the slots or tables even though you have to walk thru the casino to get to anywhere - it was a nice casino. They really want your money so they make the casino very accessible. The lobby is beautiful and super crowded and the front desk looked like mayhem hourly. My favorite spot here was the pool. Well, there are five or six pools (I can't remember exactly) and we loved the pool where all the "cool" singles partied. Well, some of the people were cool but the majority of the space was packed with tourists and lots of young people partying. There was some attitude here but it is Vegas so it was entertaining. Nightclub here and we checked it out for a little bit. It was not our type of scene but we had a drink , a very expensive drink and bailed.
Shopping was great and the finest and the food was expensive so we checked out other places to dine. We are not buffet girls so we hit smaller chain like joints in the area. Cirque du Soliel tickets were sold out.
The biggest attraction here besides the shopping is the fountain show...I loved it and must of watched it a dozen times. My girlfriends were not so impressed. ;) But others and kids really enjoy it.
I love Vegas and would return here but only if I could get a really good rate otherwise I would stay at The Luxe or Hilton. That is about all I can share because we all know....
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas :)
