April 9 2008: I've stayed there three times. It's a fantastic hotel in just about everyway. Not inexpensive. For my tastes, the rooms are consistently the best I have ever stayed in: great bed, italian sheets, quiet street (with windows in the room you can actually open to get fresh air), and an excellent restaurant. I have had several meetings here. One theatre style meeting room has huge Ferrari red leather seats for the audience---very cool. Your clients will remember it. Great restaurants and shops all around, easy to get around London.
Charlotte Street is a part of the Firmdale group, all of hotels are excellent.

Good sister hotel to the Soho Hotel, but with not much in the way of views - only the Penthouse and the junior suites, with Charlotte Street views, avoid the office environs. Still, a supremely comfortable and media friendly hotel in a great part of town.
