September 18 2007: Stayed at this hotel TWICE...a good value for the location. The hotel used to be named a Comfort INN and is a pretty normal median travel hotel; basic poly blend floral comforters and the amendities you need. The rooms are large and offer space for a family, etc... It provides a daily breakfast and free wireless internet. The hotel has both covered and uncovered off-the-street parking!! The best thing about this hotel is its location to the freeways, walking distance to the Gaslamp, and convention center (or a $5 Cab ride), two blocks to the trolley which takes you where ever you need to go! It is in a safe area. The staff is helpful in receiving packages, getting cabs, etc...
This hotel gets you out of the GasLamp pricing range but keeps you close enough to allow you to spend that extra cash on a ball game, dinner, or clubbing!!
