Quick beach getaway...

September 20 2007: Some friends were going to VA beach for Spring Break and we decided to go down at the same time as we had never taken our kids before. We grabbed this hotel at the last second.The location on the water was great and parking was easy as there was a lot directly in fron of the hotel. When we walked into the 'non-smoking' room, it clearly wasn't. While this was irritating, they moved us immediately and the second room was much better.
Nothing bad/nothing great basically. The indoor pool was adequate and the breakfast was comprehensive and reasonably priced (although the charge for a 2 year-old who ate very little seemed really high). The breakfast was a buffet and they did not seem to care for my wife's request to simply purchase a bowl of cereal and some tea.
I'm glad I've written this review now because in another year or two, the hotel (not the trip which was fun) will completely be forgotten.
