January 2 2008: It took some research to locate hotels that have attended to accessibility in naples. I can't say that my research was 100% satisfactory but the Grand Hotel Royal is a beautiful hotel preserving classic elegance and offering spectacular views - with minimal architectural barriers.
Staff was accommodating. Food was good. The grounds were nice. Internet was available in the lobby for a fee. The hotel was a comfortable stroll from the city center - quiet while being convenient.

The hotel Royal is located in a fantastic position, just by the sea, in the centre of Sorrento. The hotel is one of the most ancient hotels in Sorrento and offers traditional service and modern comfort in a familiar and peaceful atmosphere. The structure is a wonderful building, surrounded by a romantic garden and offers all the modern comforts; restaurant, bar, meeting room, swimming pool with pool-bar, private beach, sun beds and beach umbrellas and private garage. Furthermore the hotel organize gala dinners, business lunches and wedding parties and the hotel reception gladly supply guests with all kinds of necessary information to make their stay as pleasant as possible.
