Luxurious, Romantic, Quiet, Scenic, Cozy, Not Rustic
June 15 2007: My wife and I had our wedding dinner/reception at Het Jagershuis in July 2006. We stayed the night after our wedding before taking off to Greece. This is a really spectacular hotel.Standout things
1. Excellent restaurant, high cuisine. Many people in the area come here for a nice lunch or dinner. The terrace/garden is on the bank of the Amstel river. Super picturesque. You can see all the nice boats going by as you enjoy your food.
2. The suites are on the second story above the restaurant. They are spacious, fresh decor, large jacuzi with huge window overlooking the Amstel river.
3. Couldn't find a more picturesque setting. Very quiet. Nice village to take a stroll through. Walking andbiking along the river is also a highlight.
4. Excellent Dutch breakfest served in the room.
5. 20 mins by car back into the heart of Amsterdam.
