Boston's New Boss
Luxurious
This is the first review written about this hotelNovember 27 2007: The InterContinental Boston has ushered a new era of hotel luxury into America's original city and has become the new boss in Boston.

The Hotel
The hotel is comprised of 424 ultra-modern guest rooms, 243 singles, 143 doubles, and 38 suites. Guest rooms offer style and sophistication, feature the most updated, state-of-the-art technology, and are specifically designed to complement a busy and demanding global lifestyle.

Located on Boston's historic and newly redefined Waterfront, InterContinental Boston is surrounded by Boston Harbor on one side and the new Rose Kennedy Greenway on the other. Its prime location places it just steps away from renowned Boston attractions, including Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, the North End, and Boston's Financial District.

Meeting Facilities
The InterContinetal Boston has 32,000 s.f. of flexible meeting space that is situated on two dedicated levels (floors two and three) and can accommodate groups of up to 1,200 attendees. The Rose Kennedy Ballroom, located on the third level, is the largest ballroom at 10,500 s.f., and has 20' of ceiling clearance. The capacities of the ballroom are 690 classroom, 1,111 theater, 830 in rounds of 10 and 1,053 reception style. The ballroom is divisible into five rooms, the largest of which is Salon III at 3,400 s.f.

Lift
Boston's Logan International Airport is located three miles north of the hotel via the Ted Williams Tunnel and is served by almost every domestic and international air carrier from A to V. Construction is still ongoing at the airport and there are a number of surface streets, bridges, and highways that are under construction/rehabilitation as of this post.

Transfer

The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is by taxi, "shared" shutlle, or a private transfer service. A cab or shuttle will cost approximately $14 one-way and a private transfer will cost approximately $30 one-way.
