I am a student. I love to be comfortable, but not spend tons of money. I typically will pay more for a great location, then a place way outside of the city. I also love adventure- hiking/ camping, so many of the place I visit are unique.

January 7 2008: We stayed in a suite, 4 people, and had a living room, kitchenette, a bedroom/bath and a very large balcony. Both rooms were very large which made it easy to have room for all 4 of us (one king bed, and a pull out queen). The cost was $174/ night. The cost includes tax, and parking (which is hard to find on the island). The room was very basic, but it was on Coronado Island, right accross the street from the Hotel Del Coronado ($500+/night), and across the street from the beach. Very nice to be able to get up every morning and walk on the beach. We were also very close to the down town to get breakfast or grab a drink after dinner without having to worry about driving back to the hotel. The service was great and they were very helpful about suggesting restaurants, bars, activities. Would definitely suggest this hotel for anyone going to Coronado who isn't willing to pay $350 + for a hotel. the best deal by far.
