April 29 2008: The room was clean, comfortable, sizeable, and had free wi-fi. Very good deal for the money. Good location relative to various tourist locations in San Diego. There's a very large shopping center nearby (has a 24 Hour Fitness if you happen to be a member there). I wouldn't bother with the free breakfast in the lobby though. I preferred my stay at the La Quinta Inn to the Double Tree Club earlier that week.
