This is the first review written about this hotelMarch 11 2008: A cute boutique hotel that offers a complimentary continental breakfast each morning and happy hour nibbles and wine/champagne from 5 to 7 each night. They offer this in the reading room with an array of books and cozy tables and chairs. This little perk was a life saver for me with my long days so I really enjoyed having this little amenity.

Their is a cappucino machine and fresh coffee/tea at your leisure 24 hours a day. A roof top bar that was lively and they have an outdoor seating terrace with lots of foliage and potted flowers which was cute but a little too smokey for me.

The rooms were a nice size for NY standards and I really liked the bathrooms - great water pressure :). My room was kinda of dark and they do not have room service even tho it says they offer this :( The tv was small so I did not indulge in a movie. They have turn down service and leave the sweet little chocolates on your pillow :)

No gym but have free access to a fitness gym nearby. Free WiFi which was a nice perk, too.

I was pleased with the room but def overpaid for it considering a good friend was staying across the street in a large suite for half the price! The staff was nice and the restaurant downstairs had OK food.

I chose this hotel b/c it was actually the cheapest I could find at the time ( fashion week ) but I was pleased with my stay and my gal pal who joined me for two nights loved it. Pretty good location and there are good places to eat everywhere.

It is quiet and you have endless amounts of books to read if you are a bookworm. I did alot of work in the reading room. I was not disturbed and was very comfortable. I don't think I will go back considering there are many other hotels in NY that are better and have less rates.

It is a small hotel with ten floors and it was at its full capacity when I was there and everyone was there for business. Very quiet and beds were good, too.
