Downtown, Luxurious, Modern, Stylish, Not Budget, Not Historic, Not Lively
February 23 2008: Mandarin Oriental in Miami is located on Brickell key. It is convenient for meetings in downtown Miami and Coconut Grove. The drive to Miami Beach is relatively easy for dinner, but the Hotel has two excellent restaurants inside of it. The rooms are well appointed and the man made beach is surprisingly nice. You can't swim in the water off the beach because there is no access which we found to be the only drawback. It is much cheaper to stay here instead of Miami beach and you get a different crowd inside the hotel relative to the beach. (Good)
