Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore
Scenic, Shopping, Sightseeing, Nightlife, Families, Tourists, Not Luxurious
June 12 2007: The Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel is a dream come true for Orioles fans.  It is in the heart of the Inner Harbor and within walking distance to Camden Yards.

However, I am not a baseball fan, so I do not value its proximity to Camden Yards.  I was there to experience the Inner Harbor and I must say it was very convenient.  We were able to walk around the inner harbor.

The hotel is what you'd expect from a Sheraton- nothing special.  Our room was fine, flat screen TV, but bit dingy.  The bathroom was outdated and kind of gross.

We had breakfast at the restaurant which was Orioles overload with all sorts of memorabilia on the wall.  It goes without saying that I recommend going out to eat.  Why eat at a Sheraton when there is great seafood around the Inner Harbor?

Close to Camden Yards and Inner Harbor, but Needs Update
Entertainment, Shopping, Business People, Events & Meetings, Tourists, Not Luxurious, Not Quiet, Not For Gourmets
This is the first review written about this hotelJune 12 2007: The Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Baltimore and the Inner Harbor area, and only two blocks from Camden Yards.  This hotel is geared towards the Orioles crowd.

Our room was located on the fourth floor and had great views of the Inner Harbor.  The bed was comfortable and the flat screen TV was a plus.

However, the hotel is in desperate need of an update. It's a large hotel with a bland, corporate feel.  Although the hotel has a few updated features (such as the aforementioned flat screen TV), the overall feel is dingy and outdated, especially the bathroom in our room.  In addition, the thermostat in our room did not work properly.

The hotel offers free parking in an attached garage, but its dirty and very crowded (especially on game nights).   The restaurant may be adequate if you only rate convenience.  Otherwise it should be avoided.

They offer wireless high speed Internet access, but its not free.
