January 14 2008: I've stayed here many times for work, mostly because I could earn SPG points for staying here and the cost/night was withing my firm's allowed range. The rooms are shabby/in need of a remodel. The wired internet plugs are located in a weird place, making PC work uncomfortable. Also, the rooms have no desks. (Again, tough to work.) Finally, every time I was there, the bar and restaurant were over-run with Southwest Airline employees, so I always felt like a party-crasher rather tha a valued guest/patron. I don't believe this hotel has a club floor, so no perks for you SPG status holders.

Location. The Sheraton Suites Market Center is located across from the Dallas World Trade Center in Dallas, Texas. The Infomart, the Apparel Mart and the Furniture Mart stand three blocks away. The hotel is positioned three miles from downtown Dallas. Hotel Features. Pastel peach and ivory tones create a softly hued backdrop for the Sheraton Suites Market Center's Southwestern style. Tropical foliage and floral arrangements introduce lively color to the hotel's marble floored lobby. Located in the lobby, Ambrosias Restaurant serves American fare and Starbucks coffee for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sparrows Lounge prepares light fare and serves beer, wine and cocktails. This property offers 4,000 square feet of function space that accommodates up to 250 people. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby for a fee. A business center houses one computer station. Recreational amenities include an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a spa tub, and a 24 hour fitness room equipped with one wall mounted television, cardiovascular and weight training equipment, and free weights. A gift shop is stocked with sundries and souvenirs.
Guestrooms. This 11 story property offers 251 guestrooms outfitted with Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds. Beds feature custom, pillowtop mattresses dressed with three sheets, fleece blankets, duvets and five goose down/feather pillows. Most guestrooms extend onto narrow balconies. Bathrooms are stocked with Bliss toiletries and feature curved shower rods. High speed wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee.
Expert Tip. The Sheraton Suites Market Square provides complimentary shuttle service to select locations within five miles, including downtown Dallas and the arts district.
