Sonesta Bayfront Hotel Coconut

October 5 2007: I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past two years and find it great value for a nice hotel that is very conveniently located.  The hotel has comfortable rooms, a great outdoor pool and bar, good continental breakfast that is included in room package.  The big surprise for me was that it has one of two squash courts in the Miami area so I got a game while staying at the hotel.  Also, very convenient to walk to good restaurants in downtown coconut grove

November 19 2007: I've probably stayed at this hotel a dozen times over the past few years, and the reason for that is simple: it's an affordable (for Miami), clean, stylish, comfortable hotel. The rooms vary from your standard twin bed experience, to rooms with a seperate bedroom, dining area, kitchenette and two bathrooms. Every time I have stayed at this hotel my room has always been quiet, clean, and comfortable. For me, that's all I ask from a hotel. And they've always delivered. Room service is decent, they have a nice pool and bar area, and the hotel is located right in the heart of Coconut Grove, close to restaurants, bars, shopping, and Biscayne Bay. Valet parking is pricey - about $20 a day, but again, this IS Miami. I'm sure there are more expensive, hip hotels to be found on South Beach, but for me, this hotel works perfectly fine.
