July 24 2007: ....and the boutique heaven is dual-fold - this is probably one of the best boutique hotels in which I have stayed and it is walking distance to all the wonderful boutiques of South Kensington & Knightsbridge. (it is also right across the street from the tube stop). I have stayed here three times, the latest being Jan 2007 (first being 2002) and each time they have had wonderful touches like remembering who I am and welcoming me back with a hand written note & box of chocolates in my room. The bathroom sparkles of marble and modern fittings and the linens are some of the best on which I have slept at a hotel. The rooms in which I have stayed are small, (granted I have stayed in the least expensive rooms and it IS London!) but always well appointed with gorgeous draperies, furniture and all the small touches like umbrellas, robes and free bottled water. The restaurant is tasty, the lounge comfy and stylish and the staff have always gone above and beyond for our needs. It is well worth the cost if you are wanting a little luxury in a small boutique hotel.
