May 14 2008: I didn't actually stay here but one of the people I spent the weekend with did, and I had a chance to look over place over in the morning before we left.
The hotel is on a quiet street in a converted priory next to a church. It's all peace and quiet and charm, and the prices are the same as the big, sterile business hotels downtown. It lacks amenities like a pool and it's a little out of the way (you probably want to have a car if you're staying here), but makes up for it in classy details like the reading room and private garden. Kid friendly, too.
