July 16 2007: The Ritz on South Beach is the very best value on the beach. They have the best rooms and great service. I recommend staying here over the Delano or Shore Club if you want aplush room at a reasonable luxury hotel price.

Location. Set directly on the beach, the Ritz Carlton South Beach is located in the Art Deco district in Miami Beach, Fla. The hotel is one block from the pedestrian shopping mall, Lincoln Road. Guests are within one half mile of the famous Ocean Drive and the Miami Convention Center. Hotel Features. Gourmet cuisine is featured at Americana, New World cuisine at David Bouley Evolution and live jazz at the Lapidus Lounge. Onyx 360, the exclusive table for 10, displays a 360 degree view of the hotel above the lower lobby.
Meetings and social functions enjoy an elegant atmosphere when hosted at the 10,000 square foot ballroom or one of the ten meeting rooms. High speed Internet access and a business center lend event assistance. La Maison de Beaute Carita, the first signature spa outside of Paris, treats offers the Mustard Bath and four signature Prada Beauty treatments.
A Tanning Butler strolls the beach and pool on the weekends, ready to apply tanning products upon guests' request. After guests tire of the beach, a fresh water alternative is the elevated pool and VIP pool Dens, complete with a four poster bed, Roman blinds and plush pillows.
