Our teeny room, decorated in soothing blues, was nice enough if you are under five feet tall and pack lightly. It had a large bay window overlooking Sloane Square, and a comfortable double bed wedged between two slivers of storage space. But the even tinier bathroom is not nice at all. Every shower is accompanied by clanging noises, as it is impossible to lather up without banging one’s elbows, knees and various and assorted parts against the plexiglass confines. And why oh why can’t hotels have shower knobs that don’t require a call to housekeeping in order to decipher?
The front desk service ranged from rude to ignorant to lacklustre. They also need to beef up their security a bit. I kept losing my card key, and while I was happy they kept giving me new ones, they never once asked for ID before doing so. I could’ve been any Sloane Ranger skulking on the corner outside of the Cartier nearby for all they knew.
If the room had been a bargain, none of these things would have mattered. But given the steep price, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. Or at least be willing to seriously pay for a room upgrade.

There were 2 good and pretty hip restaurants downstairs. The location on Sloan Square was excellent if you like to shop, and there's a subway stop across the street. The hotel had free DVD and playstation game rentals, which was pretty cool (Miami Vice with Colin Farrell is a great rental). The staff were mostly polite, but the concierge made a pretty serious error when helping me with directions to a meeting out of town. Also, they charged 16 pounds (about $31) for internet access which seemed excessive since even Hampton Inns offer free access - at least here in the US.
It's a nice hotel, but our experience could have been better.
