Quite a bit of business travel so I usually find myself in business areas...personal travel is of the resort variety...healthy foods, not terribly lavish properties, with a premium on quality service and comfortable feel.
November 13 2007: We didn't really have time to leave town for our 12th wedding anniversary, so we decided to stay in town and maximize the leisure time. New property, neat location with access to a number of top notch mid-town Dallas restaurants...we dined at Nobu in the Crescent Hotel (awesome). The W is definitely a fun environment, good (not great) spa, very good workout facility and a very cool outdoor pool on the 16th floor, complete with swim to the "edge" of the building feel. Spa activities are pricey; staff are well trained and accomodating. Be ready for ever present Dallas chic crowd. Accoutrements are all new, functional and fun!
