The front desk staff was very polite although nothing particularly stood out there.
Our room on the 10th floor of the south tower was gorgeous -- huge room with one wall of solid windows and a gigantic kingsize bed. Only downsides were the lousy air conditioner that worked but not very well and the lack of a mini-bar (which we wouldn't have used anyways).
We had stayed in this area before and it's relatively quiet while still close to lots of the attractions on yonge street. It's also close to the subway station.
From our previous visit, we knew a place to park across the street from the Mariott for significantly less! Parking at the hotel was $30, whereas we parked for $18 (not bad for Toronto).
In the morning, we got a newspaper and a quick check-out bill slipped under our door to make checking out really easy.
All in all a great stay -- no complaints! This place is much nicer than the Days Inn nearby and worth the extra money!
