October 31 2007: Stayed here for a few days in July. Great location for business or leisure as it is in the heart of Toronto and close to everything - shopping, restaurants, conference centres. (Jamie Kennedy's Wine Bar is close by, and definately worth a visit!) Very helpful staff, including charming doorman who helped with baby stroller and front desk who courried a package that I left there. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but very classic decor and comfortable beds.

Location. The Le Meridien King Edward in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has been serving guests for more than 100 years. Located in downtown Toronto, the hotel is next to the Hockey Hall of Fame and less than three kilometers from the Rogers Centre, CN Tower and the Royal Ontario Museum. Hotel Features. Le Meridien King Edward has been renovated several times and features modern amenities. Two dining options are available, the elegant The Restaurant and the more casual Consort Bar. The hotel features a large business center, complete with currency exchange. Additional amenities include a fitness center, ballroom, beauty salon, full service health spa and dry cleaning services. Pets are offered a welcome package upon arrival.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms are available in several different styles and feature a variety of color schemes and designs. Rooms are large and include floral curtains and framed paintings.
Expert Tip. The Le Meridien King Edward opened in 1903 and King Edward VII personally presented the property with his seal of approval. The hotel was then named after the king.
