Econo Lodge Downtown

January 21 2008: We arrived here late, but the front desk staff was helpful in explaining where to park.  The trick is to park on the street overnight in front of a parking meter.  It's free until 9am, when you should switch into a pay lot on St. Laurent.  Don't park in the lot overnight because they have a camera and will charge you more.

There is a 'breakfast' included with your stay which includes croissants and stale coffee... we recommend trying a nearby cafe instead!

The room itself was nice -- we got a kingsize bed which was comfy.  The walls were paper-thin though and we could hear the tv in the room next to ours until very late.

Probably the best thing about this hotel is the fact that it has free wireless internet, and it's close to attractions & downtown.  The metro is 1.5 blocks away.

Would maybe stay here again.
