July 26 2007: It's in the middle of nowhere in La Habana, not near la Bodeguita or El Florida, neither la Plaza de la Revolución or the University. Except for having a walk near the sea (what a view!!!!), you will need a taxi for whatever you could want to do.Rooms are not very clean, toilets have holes on the bath or shower or other places, it's noisy even on the 10th floor, and the air conditioned is damn*d noisy!
The breakfast is awful except fruit, staff is friendly and only helpful if you speak spanish, but i have my doubts you could sleep here if you don't, since it's a typical tour package hotel.
Go to the National, believe me: it will be unforgettable!
