March 21 2008: This hotel was booked for me on a work trip to Munich. The hotel was only 5 minutes from the office so was very well located for me. Infact it is only a couple of minutes from the Sandlinger Tor U-Bahn which takes you to the main stations inc. Marienplatz on the U3 or U6. It is also pretty centrally located for business or pleasure so not complaints on that front. Checking in felt a little like a time warp back to the 80's with some real chintz decor and furniture. The room was tidy and clean upon arrival if not a little drab in the decoration department.
Breakfast was typical continental fare with a mix of hot and cold and plent of cereal and fruit.
Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English, which was good because my German is non exsitant.
I would stay again, but that is probably only due to the location.
