August 12 2008: The auditori is not in the center of Barcelona, but very close to Ryanair bus drop off.
Rooms are not huge, but confortable, modern and clean.
Breakfast offers nice selection of Spanish fare, but is typically not included in room price.
10 min walk from Ramblas.

July 20 2007: I booked this hotel on the back of a pleasant stay at the Confortel in Fuengirola. The Auditori is a new modern hotel, which is possibly more geared to the business traveller, opposed to the leisure traveller.
The location is ok. The nearest Metro (Arc de Triumf) is only five minutes walk away.
The staff were very welcomimg and friendly aand spoke excellent English (which put me to shame). The room was perfectly clean and tidy on arival whith a nice flat screen plasma TV hanging on the wall.
The breakfast was an excellent selction of cold meats, fruit and cereal, with plenty of fruit juice and tea/coffee.
All in all, this is a great hotel, maybe a little out the way for the sightseer, but then again, who wants to stay in the mad house of La Ramblas. The overall feel is smart and sofisticated.
I'd definately check back in.
