Don't expect to have the latest electronic gadgets in lights, or the biggest TV, or an incredible swimming pool or spa. But you will have your shoes cleaned in the morning, the breakfast will be served with silver crockery, and every receptionist will remind your name and where you are from.
Every room is different from the others, and most decoration is kitsch or rococo. I'm sure there is some people who will like it, but I'm not. As an example, if central heater doesn't work and you don't have warm water, bellboys will bring some buckets so you can have your bath. Conclusion: perhaps, in a modern hotel, the heater wouldn't break.
I remember the menu of the restaurant: it had eight versions: each language (four of them) had two: one with prices (for the "gentleman") and one without them (for the "lady").
It's an outdated hotel, and that means something for some people. Enjoy... if you can pay it.
