Confortel Fuengirola

Considering the town of Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol, is bit overcrowded with Britsh Package holiday makers, this hotel was a smart suprise. Aimed at more sophistacted market than most of the other hotels in the area, the feel was smart and quite business like. The location is perfect if you fancy a stroll on the sand as the beach is just the other side of the road.

There is a hotel pool that is up on the second floor but you have to check your timing as the pool is actually only in direct sunlight for a couple of hours a day, however that did make it pretty quiet and at times I had the pool to myself.

The breakfast room/restaurant is up on the 1st floor with large windows looking over the beach. The view of the sun coming up from the horizon was quite inspiring as I tucked into my breakfast. As for the breakfast this was excellent. A buffet with both hot and cold options available.
