August 17 2007: I stayed at this hotel with two friends at the end of a trip to Spain. It is about an hour away from the airport in Madrid. We were driving from Barcelona, so we were able to avoid early morning rush hour in Madrid while trying to make our flights. The hotel is very inexpensive if you use a search engine. Very basic, on the highway hotel. The nice part was that it was a ten minute walk into the town center and we arrived as the residents were starting their evening paseo and actually had to wait about 45 minutes until the restaraunt opened. It was such a better experience than staying in an airport hotel on our last night in Spain.

The Alcarria hotel lies in a peaceful area of Guadalajara, just a 15 minutes' walk from the historical centre of the city and only one hour by car from Madrid. The structure offers all the services that guests may need during their holiday or business trip, such as meeting and conference rooms, a business center, a bar, a restaurant and a parking. Furthermore, your small pets are allowed in the hotel.
