Our room was gorgeous and the perfect size for two gals. We had a deluxe room with a queen bed and the bed and linens were great. Bathroom was a bit on the smaller size but very very clean and nice fixtures.
We had a little balcony with views of the narrow streets of the city ( which I enjoyed ) Our room's decor was in rich navy blues and whites and had a nice flat screen. Considering its location and the hustle and bustle of the city, it was very quiet.
Small but charming. So many unique touches throughout the hotel. The elevator was a very old Louis Vuitton steamer trunk which could transport 2 w/ luggage comfortably so you would have to wait a bit for the elevator if it was in use.
A yummy yummy TRUE french continental breakfast was included with our rate. The room where you dined for breakfast is beautiful. They did not really have a full room service menu so that was a bummer but you are in Paris so you should really be wondering the streets for great cafes ;)
They have beautiful art displayed through out the hotel and a cozy fireplace to lounge in the lobby and read a good book after a long day of sightseeing. Free Wifi.
The staff was lovely and very helpful with recommendations etc. Everyone spoke english and tagged a cab for us every time we departed the hotel.
We scored a killer rate when we stayed however I looked into this hotel again June 2007 and the rates had doubled. If you are looking for a boutique hotel with lots of charm and a good night's rest and want to feel like you are in Paris --- this is worth every penny!
I have been to Paris many times and I have to add that this little gem happens to be one of my favorite little hotels and I hope to stay there again in the future.
Date of stay: April 2006
Purpose of stay: Leisure (With Friends/Group)
