August 6 2008: We have stayed for the second time a few days in this hotel and we definitely will go back again. We love it.Its location is perfect, almost on the waterfront of the Bay of Villefranche sur Mer.
The little town is the first town east of Nice. Its bay berthes from time to time Cruise Ships that don't want to pay the hefty berthing fees of Nice Harbor.
When you are sitting on your balcony there is always something to see. Not only the debarquing and embarquing of the cruise ships, but also plenty of smaller boats and yachts.
You can hire small boats in front of the hotel.
The hotel is two steps away from the trainsstation with a frequent service to Marseille on the one hand and Italy on the other hand.
It is refurbished in 2002 and is, albeit not very luxurious, up to standarts.
It has no restaurants, but plenty of good restaurants next door where youcan spot the rich and famous if you are interested.
It has its own bar.
Staff is very friendly and professional.
