I really appreciate a great hotel and am willing to pay (within reason). Typical split personality: family w/ 3 small kids and business exec road warrior. Hotel priorities are location, cleanliness, non smoking, peace and quiet, fitness center.

October 24 2007: Hotel Ambassadeur is a great hotel in Juan Les Pins. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times for business meetings. Good wireless Internet access in rooms and common areas.
The rooms and bathrooms are of good size with showers (especially for a European hotel). The staff is friendly and helpful. Great pool with poolside cafe.
Extra bonus is the beach and beach cafe that the hotel owns (Plage de la Jetee) -- it's a five minute walk through the very lively shopping and sidewalk cafe scene in Juan Les Pins.
The hotel is very close to a city park with rides for kids and classic bocci ball games all day long.
The hotel does need a better fitness center with fitness equipment.

The decoration, an avant-garde architecture and a green setting make the Hotel Ambassadeur, located in the centre of Juan les Pins, only 200 metres from the beaches, a well-known address on the French Riviera. Its central atrium, hosting giant palm trees beneath a glass roof from where a soft light comes through, will fascinate you, as well as the the blue lagoon outdoor pool. Everything is here to make you feel good and relaxed. The hotel offers 3 restaurants and a piano bar, 18 meeting rooms (the largest one can welcome up to 260 guests), a direct access to Juan les Pins Convention Center, a fitness centre, a private beach with restaurant, an indoor heated swimming pool a business centre, and Wi-Fi Internet access in the public areas. Pets are welcome in the property.
