A cute, modern hotel close to Boulevard Montparnasse and the subway.
The rooms are very small but the interiors are vibrant and fun. VEry eclectic. The lobby has been graffittied by a local french artist. There is free wifi and breakfast, and the food was pretty good. I was very surprised by the friendliness of the staff, you hear the rumors that the french are rude but this was not the case here. They spoke english and were helpful.
My only complaint was the the tiny closet. I know chics will relate to this. I was here for ten days for fashion week and I had a wicked wardrobe packed and most of my garments were left in my suitcase. They provided me four hangers and when I called to request a few more, there were no extra hanging around.
Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. I can not really recommend any places close by because I did not have much time to explore the city. By the time I got home from work and events , I was exhausted.
A great hotel, very comfortable bed and I will be staying here again in the fall.
Date of stay: February 2008
Purpose of stay: Business
