October 20 2008: I stayed here for 3 weeks over the course of a month on business. The first week I was in a basic room. Very comfortable, although small by American standards (I understand that small is normal in London). The other 2 weeks I was in a Deluxe room. Bed was not as comfortable, but very spacious nice room.
I only had 2 complaints.
1) the Internet: Free Wireless was in Lobby only, in-room Ethernet was 20 GBP per night (approx $40)
2) Houskeeping would visit by 9 AM every day (including weekends) If I would put out the "Do not disturb" sign, they would call me at about 10 AM asking when I would like to have my room service. This continued even after I contacted the front desk letting them know that I really meant "do not disturb"

Guestrooms. The Cavendish offers 230 contemporary guestrooms located on 15 floors. Modern wood furnishings are complemented by a coffee, beige and leaf green colour scheme. Rooms include minibars, coffeemakers and two bottles of complimentary water. High speed Internet access is available for a fee. All rooms include satellite television and CD players. Select rooms boast wall mounted plasma televisions. Bathrooms feature Gilchrist & Soames toiletries and shower/tub combinations.
Expert Tip. Celebrity frequented shops and some of London's finest tailors are located within 500 metres of the hotel along Saville Row. Located on the same street as the hotel, Floris has provided fragrances and toiletries to notables that include Florence Nightingale, and Mary Shelley of Frankestein fame. Even Ian Fleming's James Bond character wore a Floris fragrance.
