April 8 2008: This B&B in an old Victorian house turned out to be a gem. We considered staying somewhere cheaper but charmless, but this place was so much better. Charming ambiance, everything scrupulously clean - plus the couple who run it are incredibly friendly and helpful. Just around the corner from the South Kensington tube stop, close to Kensington Palace and the Victoria & Albert Museum, the location's really good too.
