November 9 2007: We loved this very basic hotel in London for the price, it was a steal compared to anything else we found. Nice linens, very clean, and a GREAT staff. The hotel is right in the middle of a fabulous year round outdoor market. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby and one of the finest cheese shops around. It is right on the waterfront and within walking distance to the Globe Theater. We had an emergency back home while we were there and the staff was incredibly helpful. One staff member even loaned me their cell phone charger for my entire stay.
