July 26 2007: Someone recommend me to go to this hotel, and I could say it's one of the best experiencies I've ever had with hotels, and i've had a lot, i must say! I went there on Christmas 2005 - I stayed there 5 nights.It's in the island, but not in the crowded center, where there are so many tourists and noise. At the same time, it's not so far from Piazza San Marco, just 10 minutes walking by the lake-side. There is a vaporetto station just 100 meters far, with the same name of the hotel and the quarter.
The hotel is very clean, almost everything is painted in white, breakfast is probably the best I've eaten (quality & diversity), rooms are big and so are toilets. Silence is a must, and it has a lot.
I paid a bargain, but it seems it is not anymore. Anyway, I would recommend it so strongly that I'm planning to return to Venezia for next Carnaval, and I'll go to Sant'Elena!
