There are cameras on you the whole time for security reasons I guess, and they'll bitch at you on an intercom if you forget to close the elevator gate. For the record, you can't get out onto the roof here -- we tried.
Being outside the main touristy part of the city meant it was really quiet at night. We had a courtyard view room, which I would recommend asking for since there is sometimes a market on the street literally right outside.
This hotel is very close to the underground metro station so getting around is no problem, but FYI the metro closes at 9pm.
In the morning, you get a ticket to go across to the coffee shop and get a danish or croissant and a cup of coffee. Not a big breakfast but it hit the spot for me.
The interior of the room was gorgeous, with built-ins on either side for clothes storage and high ceilings. The television was really small, but we didn't watch it much anyways! The bathroom was a decent size compared to other hotels we read reviews on. There was even a bedet (however you spell that).
All in all it was a really nice stay! The front desk staff were really helpful and let us leave our bags there after checkout on the last day. I'd definitely stay here again, and I threw my coin in at Trevi Fountain so it looks like I might have to...
