June 28 2007: We stayed here in September 2005. It is budget, small but really clean. It is two steps behind San Marco and some rooms are built over a small street and look out over its own little square with church and church bell (Ramo S Zulian).
It has no lobby and small rooms. But in Venice you live on the streets, terraces, in the bars and the restaurants. The wonderful thing is that in the evening the tourist masses (busses and boats) have dissappeared and the city is given back to the inhabitants. It has a nice breakfast room and they serve quality breakfasts. Personell is very friendly and helpful.
