Enjoy travel. Dislike tourists...that's what living in DC forever can do to a person. Favor unique/small places to stay but not so small that the owners want to introduce their kids over breakfast. In cities, it's all about being able to step out the door...right into the city.
June 14 2007: Stayed here for a long weekend...you know those long weekends in Europe? You want a place for a cab to dump you off, feel unique, and be able to head out the door on foot and get just about anywhere in the city. This is a good one. Very romantic. The rooms were the W before the W was the W. Didn't eat there much - too many crepes to find in the city. If we ever go back I could stay here again and not feel like I was missing out on a different hotel somewhere else in the city.
