FROM

Also within a quick walk is the waterfront with its shops and great places to eat. I was here on business with limited time to get out and about, but because my visit was in summer, had extra long days to squeeze in some enjoyable walks near the water, and sample some excellent cuisine.
In fact the long days threw me off a bit, or maybe it resulted from being a little jet-lagged. At any rate, I remember jumping out of bed the first morning, thinking I’d overslept because the sun was so high and bright in the sky. Turned out, I arose too early not too late.
The room itself was satisfactory, if a bit smaller than what I’m used too. The bed was a queen-size and quite comfortable. The furnishings were functional for the smaller space, and overall, the place had a clean, crisp feel about it.
I think I’d book a suite if accompanied, but traveling alone as I was, the standard room size worked fine.
Being in the midst of Oslo, the hotel is in a great location, especially for leisure travelers, however it’s a ways from the airport. I believe a cab ride is about 40 minutes, but I used the train which took half that time to get to a nearby station. From there, the hotel was only a couple minutes walk.
