November 28 2007: So because I was being cheap and wanted to use points I booked this hotel in spite of its slightly off location. When I say slightly off, I mean I would NOT walk outside unaccompanied even during the day. If the location weren't bad enough the hotel is in miserable condition. I bet the last renovation was over 15 years ago best case scenario. The hotel was grubby, the rooms felt like an economy room from a decade ago and the staff was altogether unhelpful. The hotel was miserable enough that we checked out the next day and checked into the JW Marriott. A much nicer property. Having complained to Starwood though they did refund all of my points very graciously.
