FROM

Upon our arrival we were greeted by Marie, an agent of the letting agency that runs this apartment and a number of others - she was friendly and interested, and provided us with a great deal of information about the surrounding area and the city as a whole - she couldn't have been more helpful.
The apartment really is beautifully laid out - the photos attached to this review only partly do it justice - it really is fantastic. The balcony affords an incredible view over most of central Lisbon, and is excellent to sit upon in the evenings with a bottle of wine.
Given that the apartment has a fantastic view and is only on the third floor (portuguese definition of third floor involves having four stories below you - don't ask...), it's something of a given that it's at the top of a hill, however this isn't an issue, as the Elevador da Lavra runs from Rossio square (river level, just about) up to maybe 3 vertical meters from the apartment - this means that the apartment Sete Colinas is a stone's throw from central Lisbon and the major attractions and the cultural centre of the city, the Baixa, and only a short hop from the Barrio Alto, the nightlife heart of the city.
In all, a fantastic place to stay, extremely affordable, and we couldn't have been any happier!
