June 5 2008: This once was a Leading Hotel of the World and is now an Intercontinental. It's a large hotel with plenty of meeting and conference space. The room I stayed in was in the newer section and was quite nice with a huge bathroom. Overall the hotel lives up to it's name. If you're planning a meeting in this part of the world then you should consider this hotel.
From its 1874 opening, Grand Hotel InterContinental Stockholm has been Sweden s leading luxury hotel. Royalty, heads of state, celebrities and Nobel laureates make themselves at home in sumptuous waterfront surroundings near the Royal Palace. Old Town, Stockholm City Hall, Vasa Museum, Millesgården and the Museum of National Antiquities are nearby.
