I have not been to many destinations and there are quite a few to cross off my list. I get to go to Europe and NYC for work few times a yr so good deals are important. I like shopping, fashion, skiing and girl getaways and road trips to Vegas and Mexico.
May 15 2008: Spacious resort. Exactly what you would expect from Marriot. Clean room but in need of upgrades or refurnishings. A good bed. Beautiful lobby and very crowded. Many pools and a jacuzzi. There are boats that take to and from the restaurants which is nice service. Staff was OK and have had better service elsewhere.Food was good but sometimes a long wait. A nice resort. I have been to better resorts. There were a lot of business people and events going on the weekend we were there, including our bachelorette party. We did get a bit rowdy one night in our rooms and security did show up but they were pretty cool. Spa was nice and they have a japanese restaurant which was pretty decent. We partied and relaxed all over the resort. It looks like a nice resort for golfers. It was a pleasant affordable stay but not sure I would go back there unless it was for another special event. It would be my last choice for a hotel in Palm Springs.
