February 19 2008: This is my second time staying at this hotel for the sole purpose of attending a conference in the adjacent convention center. Though convenient, the sleep was horrible. I plan to be back next year and would seriously consider another hotel . . .unless they get new mattresses.

Location. The Wyndham Palm Springs is located one and one half miles from the Palm Springs International Airport and three blocks from the famous Palm Canyon Drive. Although the Palm Springs valley boasts 69 golf courses, her greatest attractions are the Aerial Tramway, the Desert Museum, the Oasis Water Resort, the Moorten Botanical Gardens and the spectacular Indian canyons. Positioned four blocks from the hotel, Palm Canyon Drive is lined with inspiring art galleries, antique stores and charming specialty shops. Hotel Features. The hotel's architecture is fashioned in colonial Spanish tradition, with an exterior of quarried stone and a red tiled roof. Catering to conventioneers and members of the international business community, this Wyndham property is positioned adjacent to the Palm Springs Convention Center and boasts more than 30,000 square feet of conference space. Vacationers gravitate towards the hotel's 60,000 square foot courtyard, where tremendous palm trees cast their shadows on freeform pools and private cabanas. Guestrooms. With colorful interiors and rewarding views of the San Jacinto desert mountains, the guestrooms at Wyndham Palm Springs include wireless Internet access, coffeemakers and work desks. Memberships to Wyndham's 'By Request Club' are available to guests without any additional charges, and qualifies them to receive several special services such as welcoming refreshments, bottled water in their rooms and light snacks.
