This is the first review written about this hotelJuly 27 2007: My parents met at voter registration so it was a foregone conclusion that I would go down the road of law and politics. I had decided to attend George Washington University and despite the symbolism of the Watergate complex, I'd only visited the Safeway housed on a lower level. My parents came to visit one weekend and picked the hotel as their base while visiting the city, I couldn't pass up the chance to stay at the hotel (for free no less!). The rooms are huge and the staff is exceedingly attentive. Due to the location, you're close to everything and can walk to several points of interest. Be sure and request a river view. It is a bit pricey, but very well worth it.
