September 6 2007: I originally chose this hotel because it was offering a fall fare of $95 a night which is great in downtown Washington DC but would definitely stay there again even if I had to pay a regular rate.  Hotel has modern touches and more importantly, the staff is wonderful.  They were very friendly and definitely went out of their way to assist out-of-town tourists.  Michael at the front desk says "come see me first before you spend any money here in DC."  He will tell you the easiest, cheapest way to do things.  Room was well-kept and I have no complaints about my overall experience except that the hotel pool on the roof-top is small and enclosed which was disapointing, but otherwise had a great experience.  Top notch hotel, modern rooms, extremely comfortable bed.

May 22 2008: The Four Points Sheraton is a decent place to stay in a pinch -- if you need a budget hotel in the K Street corridor, it will do just fine. It certainly will not blow you away, but you will not be disappointed if you are familiar with the Sheraton brand and its place within the Starwood family of hotels. Occasionally, the more upscale Westin (at 14th & N) -- which is usually priced higher -- is $10/15 more expensive, which, if you can find that rate, is worth the "upgrade".

With regard to the room itself, the bed was quite serviceable and the room, while not hip, stylish or luxurious was tasteful & simple. Certainly not shabby. The desk was a little too small to be a useful workstation (again I refer you to the Westin), which is the only negative for business travellers. Desk staff courteous & pleasant .
